





Certification: How It WorksAccredit UK is a mark of quality for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry to show that a business holding the Accredit UK mark will deliver ICT solutions to a high standard. The Accredit UK Standard aims to improve confidence in the ICT supply chain by measuring businesses against agreed criteria and by registering certified businesses with Accredit UK. This Standard also provides guidelines for Purchasers so that they can buy ICT solutions more effectively. It is recognition that ICT Suppliers will have an appropriate balance of technical resources and sound processes. The business is further recognised for having skilled, experienced and qualified staff delivering ICT solutions to the levels of satisfaction expected by its Customers. The ICT industry has been divided into individual segments. The segments have been identified as key areas within the industry. Each segment then has specialisms with a high degree of similarity in their requirements, yet distinct from other specialisms within the segment. Accredit UK is designed to assist SMEs in using technology from reputable suppliers with confidence, and, therefore lead to improvements in their business...
