Accredit UK Holds First Marketing Workshop

One of the key areas that SMEs have asked for help with is marketing. During certification visits and piloting, smaller companies have often stated that they lack formal training in how to plan and position the company effectively.

This is not surprising – many small businesses emerge as a result of the owner-manager’s technical expertise. In particular, the ICT industry has many businesses that are technically excellent, but are unable to reach their target market.

Accredit UK has been designed in order to specifically address this issue. It gives companies the ability to stand out from the crowd. However, there is clearly a desire in the market for even more help. As a result, Accredit UK has begun a series of training workshops in marketing.

The first was held at the National B2B Centre in Coventry. Entitled Opening the Door to Bigger Business, the theme was how to target larger businesses. It followed on from some of the lessons learnt at the Accredit UK Conference.

Presented by John Beeston, the workshop proved extremely successful and received excellent feedback from delegates.

The next workshop will be held on 30th September and will follow on from this event.
