A core element in the continued development of Accredit UK is consultation. Accredit UK has been created with the full involvement of those who ultimately benefit from it – that is the purchasers and suppliers of ICT solutions.

In addition to formal partners who work or have worked on the development of the Standard, the following organisations also sat on the Accredit UK Advisory Board. This role entailed them bringing their expertise and ensuring that every opinion was considered. Bodies on the Advisory Board included:
