Accredit uk and amitpro join forces

Accredit UK have partnered with AMITPRO (The Association of Midlands IT Professionals) in order to offer Accredit UK Certified and Applicant companies the opportunity to network with like-minded businesses and share best practice ideas.

Accredit UK have been attending these monthly meetings since the New Year and have seen a number of Accredit UK Certified and Applicant companies in attendance. This has been a great opportunity to chat face to face with you and gives us a better understanding of what we can do for you. The feedback from you has been very positive, and the impact that AMITPRO has had on your business has also been very interesting to hear.

This is why Accredit UK have taken the step to partner with AMITPRO and encourage all Accredit UK companies interested in networking and new business opportunities to attend the meetings. The meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at The Arden Hotel, Birmingham from 5.30pm. AMITPRO is a not for profit organisation of small IT Companies based in the East and West Midlands who meet on a monthly basis.

Their mission is simple: to work in partnership, to share best practices, to share experiences and to develop business and technical skills. Guest speakers are arranged by connecting with vendors who can bring value to your business and to your customers.

The Group was started in September 2005 as a result of the Microsoft Small Business Specialist Programme. Microsoft assisted the Group with funds for a venue/food for its first six months but AMITPRO has since been self funded through membership subscriptions.

Members pay a current annual fee of £120 which runs from January to December. The fees cover the cost of the meeting rooms that we use and from time to time vendors who present pay for refreshments/buffet.

New people wishing to join the group can attend two meetings for free before deciding to join up.
