Partners

A core element in the continued development of Accredit UK is consultation. Accredit UK has been created with the full involvement of those who ultimately benefit from it – that is the purchasers and suppliers of ICT solutions.

However, we are not content to stand still - we constantly want to involve more people in the development of the standard. If you would like to get involved in any way, then please contact us .

Right from the start a wide range of partners have been helping to shape the standard. They vary in size from large public sector bodies and international companies down to micro business. They fall into three categories:

  • Funding Partners - organisations that have contributed financially to the development of Accredit UK;
  • National Partners - large national organisations that have been involved in the design and development of the standard;
  • Regional Partners - smaller regional organisations and companies that have helped shape the standard.

In addition to formal partners who worked on the development of the Standard, the following organisations also sat on the Accredit UK Advisory Board. This role entailed them bringing their expertise and ensuring that every opinion was considered. Bodies on the Advisory Board included:

  • BERR

  • Birmingham NTI

  • e-Skills UK

  • Federation of Small Businesses

  • Intellect

  • InterForum

  • Microsoft

  • West Midlands Regional Centre of Excellence

Below are some of the partners who have been involved in the project to date:
